Alexander Nye

About

Alexander has very unique worldly experience, having lived all over the world, from being born in Portugal to living in Hungary, Brazil, England, Scotland, and the U.S. While in Hungary, he attended an international school, and while in Brazil he attended a British school. After five years of boarding school in England, he transitioned to the University of Miami. He later worked in New York City, conducting independent investment research for some of the world’s leading private equity firms. He then pursued a Master’s degree in International Business and Emerging Markets from The University of Edinburgh.

Experience

Mr. Nye joined Benchmark International after having achieving his Master’s of Science degree from the University of Edinburgh, where he developed a deep understanding of emerging markets and how firms can benefit from the globalization of the economy. His education focused on global financial markets, financial analysis, and corporate strategy, culminating in a 15,000-word dissertation exploring the influence that private equity funds have on the success of Initial Public Offerings in Brazil. This education, coupled with prior experience of working in New York for institutional private equity clients, enables Alexander to take a big-picture approach in helping clients achieve their growth objectives. His role at Benchmark International consists of working on every aspect of a transaction, from inception to close.
