Brian CaseyBrian leads the Transaction Team and manages the entire transaction journey, from initiating talks between prospective buyers and clients to seeing the whole process through due diligence to close. He assists clients with any issues in relation to the sale of their business, advising on different aspects of the deal such as operational and financial issues that need clarification. Previously, Brian was self-employed for 10 years so he understands the pressure of managing a business and being responsible for people who help run the business. Because he sold his share of the company, he knows first hand about the complexity and difficulty of a sale. He is also a qualified CPA so he is adept at analysing financial statements to garner the best value for businesses.
Mr. Casey grew up in Cork City, and attended Presentation Brothers College, followed by CIT & UCC. He is a CPA with experience across a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, distribution, and the food industry. As an entrepreneur, he spent ten years building and running his own citywide catering company, which held multiple locations in Cork, Ireland. His role as a Benchmark International Transaction Leader utilises his unique skills when it comes to overseeing a team, building and maintaining client relationships, and closing deals on an international scale.

Mr. Casey was drawn to Benchmark International to branch out his career from strictly financial accounting. He enjoys building client relationships and working with business owners through such an important time in their lives.
