For Misha, the highlight of his role at Benchmark International is seeing the material change we make to people’s lives, through the realisation of the hard work that they have put in over several years.

Despite Misha's many successes on larger deals, his biggest achievement to date at Benchmark International was negotiating a deal for a niche company in excess of £1m, even though it made less than £50k EBITDA.

Misha has been involved in a number of charities over the years but most recently assists the charity, FarmAbility, with its social media. FarmAbility teaches young adults with learning difficulties or autism about nature and how to work on a farm. By doing so, it helps them develop their social skills, confidence and can potentially provide them part-time work. As a small charity that does not receive much in the way of funding, the charity's volunteers are paramount to keeping it running.

The initial meetings with potential buyers were held at your offices and it demonstrated to the buyer that we were presenting well with an excellent negotiating team working for us. That feeling continued with us throughout the process. In the final days of due diligence and the locked box analysis, which we did not ever understand and would have tripped us up if we had tried to do this without your support was great. Paul was so helpful along with you, Misha, and we cannot thank you all enough for taking us through this procedure to an excellent completion date. The feeling of elation at completion was something we will always remember. A truly great decision we took to sell our company supported by a truly professional and knowledgeable team. We thank you all so much for the way you realised our dream after 10 years to sell Waste Check as a going concern, which will see it flourish further under its new owners in the waste management industry.
