About

Mr. Mumtaz grew up in Karachi, Pakistan. He began his career with Standard Chartered Bank before moving to Lloyds Banking Group and Metro Bank. The desire to always help clients, do the right thing, and provide exceptional client service is key to his success. Junaid manages the Transaction Team in our Oxford office, where it is his responsibility that all clients receive exceptional client service, along with making sure that we help all our clients through the marketing process. His team is also responsible for completing transactions, which results in our clients reaching their exit goals. Outside of work, Junaid is the face of the Weight Watchers worldwide 2019 TV campaign, starring alongside Robbie Williams, Oprah Winfrey and Kate Hudson, and he helps people lose weight through change of lifestyle habits. He also helps youngsters through cricket coaching for East Oxford Cricket Club.

Mr. Mumtaz has held various roles in commercial and corporate banking. Business development mixed with relationship management formed a major part of his banking experience. In previous roles, he was also responsible for providing leadership and risk management and helping clients with funding requests. After 20 years in the banking world, it seemed logical that Junaid share his experience in the M&A world. Benchmark International's global presence and his experience in dealing with mid-corporate businesses made it a natural fit.
