We really appreciated the way Benchmark led us through this process. All the decisions were ours to make. They continuously provided the data, inputs, and experienced insights that set us up to make the best possible decisions throughout the relationship. They were patient with us when we wanted to move slowly and led the charge whenever we wanted to move ahead aggressively.

Benchmark, along with our legal team at Nelson Mullins and our accounting team at Weaver, just kept plugging away no matter what was going on outside the deal. The number of issues that needed to be addressed, negotiated, and implemented in a deal like this was apparently endless. The ways that we and DC Capital had to come together to address some unprecedented events precipitated by the pandemic and the creative solutions our team generated were absolutely amazing. My partners and I are so glad that we had the opportunity to work with this great team. I don’t know that this would have gotten done, even in regular times much less the first half of 2020, without them.

Benchmark put everything on the table about the history of the business, about how things were going with the business, and I also appreciate Chuck and Michele for being very honest. And Benchmark for asking the right questions to get those kind of details on the IM (Information Memorandum) which you generally don't see. That was what made everything smooth and easy; there were hardly any challenges in terms of acquiring the business.

Michele and I would like to thank you for the great job your entire team did helping us sell our company. We selected Benchmark (International) because of the professionalism shown by all of your representatives as well as the breadth and scope of your company. Your team answered all of our concerns and made us feel comfortable enough to initiate the selling process. You reaffirmed to me that it would be my decision on who we sell to and there was no time limit on finding the right buyer. I was skeptical, but after going through the process, I now know it's 100% true. You didn’t pressure us to make decisions and focused your efforts on guiding us through the valuation and sales process at our pace. Nowhere along the way did we feel that you were pressuring us for time or a quick decision. If it was a flip of a coin and it didn’t come up on Benchmark, then we kept flipping the coin.

It was very important that we found someone that would continue the company. Not just come in and say that they were going to buy the company then come in and fire people and sell the equipment and were just interested in our clients and list of potential clients. It had to be someone that was going to keep as much staff as possible and continue what was started. Benchmark was able to provide the buyer that met [these] needs and to maintain the level of service for our customers was important as well.
