Ms. Hanley is originally from Limerick and as a keen linguist, has always had an interest in languages, reading for a degree in Translation Studies at university and living in France for several years. 

Kelly then gained experience in the workplace in translation and writing based roles, later leading to her role at Benchmark International. Here, Kelly is head of the IM team, overseeing a team who prepare the marketing materials for each opportunity. Kelly proofreads the documents and advises team members and clients on how best to articulate the opportunity, and how to present them in the most effective way to gain interest from potential buyers.

EXPERIENCE

Kelly previously worked in a research-based/translation role for a proxy advisory company in the financial services industry. The role involved analysing data/policies in French and English, as well as writing and editing proposals for proxy papers. 

Ms. Hanley particularly enjoyed the writing/proofreading element of the role and wanted to explore this further. She also enjoyed the corporate element but wanted to work in an in-office position in a team. Benchmark International provides Kelly with the opportunity to put into practice her corporate writing and project/portfolio management skills, while being client facing and working as part of a team.

PASSION

Ms. Hanley is passionate about working as part of a team, especially when other colleagues excel in their roles and receive positive feedback from clients. She thrives off company sales coming into fruition, seeing the opportunity come full circle and completing the sale process as a collaborative effort, securing the best outcome for the client.
