Sam has been with Benchmark International Cork since its inception, playing a key role in building and establishing the firm in Ireland. He now leads Benchmark International’s expansion into the Iberian market, overseeing the development of the business across the region.

Since the establishment of the Cork office, Sam has overseen a number of successful transactions. He achieved recognition from his very first deal, which involved the acquisition of Office Technology (Irl) by Intuity Technologies.

Since then, the Cork office has completed several notable transactions, including the acquisition of Writech Industrial Services Limited and Writech Manufacturing by Waterland Private Equity; the acquisition of Labplan by ADDvise, which won Cross-Border Deal of the Year at the M&A Advisor Awards; Bunzl’s acquisition of GH Pittman; and the sale of O’Flynn Medical to Healthcare21.
