Scott grew up in the great scenic state of Utah, where he learned at a young age how important hard work and dedication are to achieving success. This foundation is largely rooted in his active involvement in sports growing up he excelled at football, playing quarterback in both high school and college.

Scott also has experience running multiple companies, all of which he exited successfully. These experiences taught him the importance of assembling the right team to support those exits. He learned many lessons the hard way, which serves as ideal preparation for the work we do at Benchmark International.

Experience

At Benchmark, Scott works to develop a clear vision of who our client truly is and what they hope to achieve by aligning with our team. Prior to joining Benchmark, he ran a large construction business that specialized in multi-million-dollar homes, ranging in value from $3 million to $33 million. Additionally, he worked as a medical representative for total knee, hip, and shoulder implants, eventually becoming a distributor for multiple product lines before exiting the company in 2019.

A large part of his passion for working at Benchmark International is ensuring that business owners do not make the same mistakes he made when exiting a business. His unique experiences make him highly qualified to guide others toward success.

Passion

Scott is, first and foremost, focused on his family. They are the driving force behind all of his hard work and dedication. He is also passionate about elk hunting with his bow. He proudly raised six children, three biological and three adopted. Two of his adopted children are from Ethiopia, and one daughter has special needs. All of them are now wonderful adults. He and his wife continue to sponsor the orphanage in Ethiopia where their children came from. In addition to hunting, he enjoys fishing
and snowmobiling.
