About
Jean was born in Petit-Goâve, Haiti, and moved to the United States at the age of two. He grew up in the small town of Vero Beach, Florida. During his upbringing, he mostly attended small private schools and eventually went on to study at the University of South Florida, where he majored in Economics and was involved in many different activities, from playing sports to volunteering. Jean’s credits his parents with being his biggest motivator to succeed. They constantly did their best to give him a happy life, and he is determined to return the favor.
As an Account Manager, Jean serves as the second point of contact for business owners through the beginning of their M&A journeys. He is the main liaison between our clients and Directors throughout the entire Deal Origination process. He takes pride in building strong, trusted relationships with our clients by understanding their goals, keeping them informed, and ensuring every detail is handled with care. His role is to coordinate seamlessly between our internal teams and our clients, ensuring the process stays on track and that our clients feel supported from initial engagement to deal completion. Jean is dedicated to delivering personalized, professional experience that results in successful outcomes and long-term client satisfaction. His role is about more than just managing tasks—it is about building trust. He wants potential sellers to know that he is fully committed to understanding their goals, protecting their interests, and making their experience as smooth and successful as possible.

Prior to joining Benchmark International, Jean earned a degree in Economics at the University of South Florida. His studies gave him a strong foundation in financial analysis, market dynamics, and strategic thinking—skills that are directly relevant to the mergers and acquisitions process. This academic background helped him understand the complexities of business valuation and deal structuring, enabling him to better support our clients. Transitioning from university to Benchmark International has allowed him to apply what he learned in a practical and client-focused environment.
Jean originally aimed to work in tech sales and saw Benchmark International as a great opportunity to develop his skills in engaging with C-Level executives. However, as he continued learning more about mergers and acquisitions and growing with the company, his focus shifted. He realized the depth and impact of the work we do, helping business owners through complex transitions. Benchmark not only offered him the chance to develop critical communication skills but also provided him with tremendous opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic and rewarding industry.
