Benchmark International is proud to have been given the Outstanding Firm award for Global Investment Bank of the Year (small mid-market) by the Global M&A Network in the 7th Annual Global and USA M&A Atlas Awards. Additional prestigious achievements awarded to Benchmark International this year include the Global M&A Deal of the Year and Global IT Services Deal of the Year. The Global M&A Deal of the Year award is for the acquisition of ZinCo GmbH by Holcim Group. ZinCo, based in southern Germany and founded in 1957, was a pioneer and one of the leading companies for extensive and intensive green roof systems, with more than 100 employees worldwide. As a global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions, Holcim’s 60,000 employees are on a mission to decarbonize buildings while improving global living standards via its broad range of low-carbon and circular solutions. The acquisition of ZinCo by Holcim marks a further strategic milestone, positioning Holcim as the global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions and complementing its product portfolio in the growing segment of green roof systems. ZinCo retained its brand name after the acquisition and has provided sustainable roofing solutions for a wide variety of projects, including the High Line in New York City and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens.

Global IT Services Deal of the Year

The Global IT Services Deal of the Year award is for the sale of Barcelona-based PUSHTech to Cendyn, a portfolio company of Accel KKR, based in Florida. PUSHTech is a cloud-based customer data platform (CDP) and CRM platform offering a suite of integrated products with hotel-specific functionalities, including email marketing, marketing automation, hotel CRM, guest journey automation, and sales CRM.

Cendyn is a catalyst for digital transformation in the hospitality industry, enabling hotels to drive profitability and foster guest loyalty. Its integrated technology platform aligns revenue, eCommerce, distribution, marketing, and sales teams with centralized data, applications, and analytics. The company has offices located in the USA, UK, Paris, Singapore, and India, and serves tens of thousands of customers across 143 countries. Cendyn is backed by Accel-KKR, a technology-focused private equity firm based in Silicon Valley. The acquisition of PUSHTech reinforces Cendyn’s dedication to growth and advancement in the CRM landscape.
