Ms. Ryan leads a team of financial analysts whose primary undertaking is to create the marketing material, including the detailed books and confidential information memorandums, for clients who own businesses in the low to middle level markets. Her team also spearheads all due diligence and legal efforts once they successfully bring together a buyer and a seller.

Experience

The entirety of Dede’s formal work experience is in the field of corporate accounting for small businesses. She has been the controller for a restaurant group in Tulsa, an advertising firm, and small tech start-up in Austin. Prior to joining Benchmark International, she worked at the University of Texas assisting with its risk and insurance management needs.  All of her small business accounting experience in different industries positively lends itself to her current role with Benchmark, enabling her to better understand corporate structures and valuation. 

Success

The Austin Benchmark International team saw an impressive representation for all businesses related to the oil and gas industry due to the rebound from the downturn in 2016. Currently, Ms. Ryan and the Austin Transaction Support Team are working with businesses spanning manufacturing, software development, technology, logistics, construction and health/medical. Dede and the team truly appreciate that Benchmark International is sector agnostic, presenting them with the opportunity to learn the inner workings and strategies behind companies across all industries.
