Benchmark International Successfully Advised on the Transaction Between AlpinEnergie Distributions GmbH and AE Betriebs & Beteiligungs GmbH

Benchmark International supported the shareholder of AlpinEnergie Distributions GmbH in the search for a sustainable succession solution as part of a structured process. With the takeover by AE Betriebs & Beteiligungs GmbH, a future-orientated partner was found who will continue to develop the company and lead it into the next growth phase.

AlpinEnergie Distributions GmbH, founded in 2013, is one of the leading energy brokers for electricity and natural gas contracts in Austria. Under the management of Peter Rulofs, a unique sales model was established with over 100 specialised, mostly exclusive brokers, which is based on a recurring revenue-sharing system and enables market distribution throughout the country.

AE Betriebs & Beteiligungs GmbH is a transaction company initiated by ASPEON Partners GmbH and based in Vienna. It is managed by Anton Stockert and Stephan Pöll and focusses on sustainable growth and operational scaling. The investor group offers an excellent network of infrastructural decision-makers in the energy sector in Europe, which will now be used to drive forward the expansion of AlpinEnergie Distributions GmbH.

90% of the shares were transferred as part of the transaction. Anton Stockert and Stephan Pöll will join the management of the company and lead it together with Peter Rulofs.
