Benchmark International Successfully Facilitated the Transaction Between A .J. Sharp Limited and Aford Awards Ltd

Benchmark International is pleased to announce the acquisition of A.J. Sharp (trading as The English Pewter Company) by Aford Awards.
The English Pewter Company is based in Sheffield and is a leading UK manufacturer of handcrafted pewter gifts and tableware. Founded in 1977, the family-run business combines traditional metalsmithing techniques with contemporary design to manufacture a range of products including personalised and engraved gift sets, tankards, hip flasks and a wide range of decorative homeware.
Maidstone-based Aford Awards specialises in personalised trophies and large-scale award fulfilment and is the official trophy supplier to the British Grand Prix. It is a 75% owned subsidiary of the listed group, CEPS.

CEPS said the transaction was in line with its strategy to create value for shareholders.
