About
Mr Boles grew up in a small suburb of Reading attending The Piggott School in Wargrave where he developed a strong affinity for maths and computer programming. He then went on to attend The Henley College and The University of Bristol. From a young age, Luke has been a competitive swimmer which instilled discipline and showed him how hard work and dedication can lead to success and fulfilment, a lesson he has taken with him through his education and into his career.
As a Transaction Leader at Benchmark International, Luke successfully runs formal sales processes, receiving numerous competitive offers. He works closely with his clients to understand their wants and desires so that he can tailor his approach and drive successful outcomes. Luke builds trusting relationships and ensures the complexities of the deal process are made clear and comprehensible. During his time at Benchmark, Luke has led several signature transactions including the sale of Avian Mobile to Nationwide Fleet Installations and the acquisition of Tutti Frutti by Heroes Technology
EXPERIENCE
While studying Economics and Management at The University of Bristol, Luke developed his ability to think critically and gave him a foundation of knowledge to embark on a successful career in finance. While at university, he was an active member of Bristol Investment Fund and Bristol Investment Society which gave him the opportunity to gain practical experience across several investment banking roles including M&A, equity research and credit analysis.
Luke decided to join Benchmark due to the opportunity provided to create impact in his work. Furthermore, he believes the lower-mid market has a fast pace that brings excitement into the work he undertakes, while developing his commercial awareness across a variety of sectors.

Luke enjoys the gym, golf, tennis, water sports, reading, and travelling. He particularly enjoys swimming and has previously competed in regional swimming competitions.
