Leon Forstmeyer

About

Mr. Forstmeyer comes from Trier and began his academic journey by studying business administration in Mainz after graduating high school. During several internships, including auditing at KPMG, he discovered his interest in actively shaping entrepreneurial environments. This motivated him to move to Düsseldorf to pursue a master’s degree in entrepreneurship at a private university. After this Leon remained committed to the entrepreneurial field and transitioned into the M&A industry. He has been part of Benchmark since January 2023. In his role as a Transaction Leader, he oversees the entire project lifecycle and works closely with his team to ensure that clients receive the best possible solution for the future of their life’s work.

experience

During his academic studies, Mr. Forstmeyer collaborated with entrepreneurs from various industries on a range of practical projects. Leon also worked as a project manager in a start-up and completed several internships during his studies. By managing various projects, he was able to develop his problem-solving skills and strengthen his negotiating at an early stage.
