About

Mr. Wagstaff grew up in Basingstoke, Hampshire and attended The Costello School followed by Queen Mary’s College. From a young age he excelled academically, winning awards and aiming to continually progress and reach the next stage in his development.  

Bill is as a Transaction Team Lead at Benchmark International, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of deals and manages a team responsible for marketing each client’s business for sale. He ensures every aspect of the campaign is executed seamlessly from origination and marketing to assessing offers, optimising their value, and navigating the intricacies of due diligence. Attentive and proactive by nature, Bill excels at addressing queries promptly and keeping clients informed and at ease throughout each stage of the process. His approach reinforces our commitment to standing firmly alongside our clients as their transactions progress, all while safeguarding their best interests.

EXPERIENCE 

Prior to working at Benchmark International, Bill developed his understanding in business and economics with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics, achieving a first-class honours, which ignited his desire to advise business in one capacity or another. He then went onto pursue a Masters in Finance from Henley Business School.

During his Masters, Bill led a fabricated sales process and while progressing in that, he was attracted to the opportunities at Benchmark International as a place where he could further this understanding in a real-world context, providing best advice to clients for them to achieve the best deal.

PASSION

Bill is passionate about personal development, meeting personal goals and continually developing his knowledge. He applies the new skills he learns to support clients and colleagues in furthering their own understanding.
