Occupying the position of Deal Lead Director, Kendall manages and coordinates a large team of Deal Leaders and Executives that are responsible for driving deals utilizing a strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills, ensuring ultimate satisfaction for Benchmark International’s clients.
Kendall works closely with Head of Business Intelligence, Sunny Garten and her team of experienced intelligence professionals. Ensuring that the marketing process is successful in generating high levels of interest in each acquisition opportunity, both teams deliberate in order to identify and directly approach highly motivated potential acquirers.
Kendall began to develop her commercial and managerial skills at an early age. From 16 she was heavily involved in the managing and operations of her family’s business, overseeing shifts and performing managerial functions after school. Taking this strong work ethic into her time at college, Kendall worked generating advertisement space for the college newspaper, consistently topping the sales charts month on month. In addition to her position at the college newspaper, Kendall was granted a place on a high profile finance internship with the investment firm, Edward Jones, working on cost basis for stock purchases, further developing her commercial and financial knowledge.
From an academic perspective, Kendall performed to the similarly high standards characterizing her professional career. While studying at East Carolina University, Kendall achieved a BA in Business Administration & Finance, graduating in three years with a 3.49 GPA. Additionally, Kendall has attained an MBA from Saint Leo University with a 3.54 GPA.
Following her time at University, Kendall obtained a position on the very selective, Branch, Banking & Trust’s leadership program, focusing on the banking industry, core financial concepts, commercial credit, and underwriting. Additionally, the course focused on personal development covering leadership and self-awareness skills.
After graduation from the program, Kendall joined the company’s banking network as an advisor within the wealth management department, instructing HNWIs on customized financial plans that addressed key aspects such as business succession, retirement, and estate planning. Succeeding her time spent working within the company’s wealth management department, Kendall transferred to the bank’s commercial underwriting department where she managed a portfolio of approximately $120m+ of committed commercial funds.
Throughout both her academic and professional career, Kendall has worked extremely hard to develop a strong commercial and financial knowledge base.
