About
Corynne grew up in Spring Lake, Michigan, where she attended Michigan State University prior to moving to Florida to earn an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from
St. Petersburg College. She has always been motivated by the belief that if you’re willing to work hard and keep learning, opportunities will follow. Every job she has had taught her something valuable, and those experiences helped shape the person and professional
she is today.
As an Origination Team Lead at Benchmark International, Corynne works directly with business owners to understand their goals and help them explore their options when it comes to the future of their companies. She has spent the last several years in the M&A industry building relationships with entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries and learning what makes businesses attractive to buyers. She focuses on being honest, approachable, and knowledgeable so business owners feel comfortable having open conversations about one of the biggest financial decisions they’ll ever make. Her goal is to provide value, earn trust, and help owners make informed decisions that are right for them and their families. Every owner has a different story, different objectives, and different reasons for considering a sale. Her job is to understand those objectives, answer questions, and help them determine whether exploring a transition makes sense.

Experience
Before joining Benchmark International, Corynne worked in childcare, healthcare, administration, and account management. While those industries are very different from M&A, they all taught her the importance of communication, relationship building, patience, and problem-solving. Working closely with families, patients, clients, and coworkers helped her develop the people skills she relies on every day when speaking with business owners and learning about their businesses.
Benchmark International offered her an opportunity to grow professionally while working for a company with a strong culture and reputation. From the beginning, she was drawn to the people, the opportunity to learn, and the chance to work with business owners from all different industries.
Passion
Corynne is passionate about working at Benchmark International because she truly believes in what we do and the value we provide to business owners. Being part of a team that genuinely cares about helping business owners achieve their goals is something she takes great pride in. She is also passionate about her personal growth, building strong relationships, helping others succeed, and continuously challenging herself to improve. Outside of work, Corynne enjoys kayaking, watching horror movies, and spending time with her animals. She has sphynx kittens that keep her busy and are a big part of her life. As a passionate animal lover, she enjoys anything involving pets and the outdoors.
