Ms. Messerschmidt has a strong foundation in corporate finance and a background in international marketing and project management, bringing a well‑rounded and analytical approach to transactions.

Daria joined Benchmark International in 2024 in transaction support and has since worked her way up to Associate. In her current role, she oversees the M&A process from the initial call through to the successful close of the deal.

experience

Prior to working at Benchmark International, Daria spent seven years in Dubai working with Visit Dubai, where she was involved in the planning and execution of global marketing campaigns. Her work focused on strengthening destination awareness across key international markets and supporting initiatives aimed at attracting global investment. Seeking to further deepen her expertise, Daria completed a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance in 2023, specialising in company valuation, portfolio management, and accounting. Building on her background in project management and communications, she made a deliberate transition into the M&A industry, relocating to Germany to pursue this next stage of her career. This combination of international experience and financial expertise underpins her structured and proactive approach to transaction execution.
