Born and raised in Los Angeles, Brian is a true Angeleno. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and spent a few years in Washington, D.C./ before returning to Los Angeles to work in corporate sales. He later acquired and ran a small business in Los Angeles, gaining firsthand experience in the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. After selling his business, Brian found his passion in helping other business owners navigate the transition process. Today, at Benchmark International, he guides entrepreneurs in finding the right buyers or partners, ensuring smooth and successful business transitions.

Brian is driven to help business owners achieve their goals and create successful outcomes that protect their legacy and secure the future for their employees. He thrives on navigating complex transactions and making a meaningful impact for people and businesses. He works with business owners to help them understand the M&A marketplace and explore whether a full or partial sale is the right step for their business. His role is to educate, advise, and ensure owners feel informed and confident as they consider their options. Having been a business owner himself, Brian understands the challenges and emotions tied to these major decisions, which allows him to connect with clients on a deeper level.

Experience

Having owned and operated a family auto body shop for more than 20 years, Brian understands firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs face and the concerns that come with selling a business or seeking a partner. At Benchmark International, he is part of a team dedicated to managing the time-intensive process from start to finish, enabling clients to stay focused on running their business while ensuring
the transaction closes successfully.

Before joining Benchmark International, he worked as a business broker in California, helping small- and medium-sized businesses find new owners or capital partners. In that role, he guided business owners through every step of the transaction process, matching them with the right buyers or investors, facilitating negotiations, and ensuring smooth, successful transitions. This experience gave him a deep understanding of the challenges business owners face and the importance of aligning business goals with the right opportunities for growth and continuity.

Passion

Brian is passionate about helping business owners navigate one of the most important transitions of their lives. Having been in their shoes as a former business owner, he understands the pride, challenges, and sacrifices that come with building a company. He is driven to ensure every owner he works with feels supported and confident as they move into their next chapter.
