Ms. Saavedra is an experienced business leader with a strong entrepreneurial background. At Benchmark International, she represents the firm’s presence in Sweden and works closely with Nordic SME business owners to explore strategic exit options. Drawing on her own experience of building and scaling companies, Gabriela understands the founder perspective and supports owners in evaluating strategic opportunities and preparing for a structured sale process.

EXPERIENCE

Before joining Benchmark, Gabriela held senior leadership roles across multiple industries, including serving as CEO and co-owner, leading marketing organisations, and managing cross-functional teams across the Nordic region. Ms. Saavedra has been responsible for strategy, growth, operational structure, and full P&L oversight in multi-country environments.

In addition, Gabriela has founded and co-founded several ventures and worked closely with growth-stage companies on expansion and long-term value creation.

Throughout her career, she has repeatedly built and structured businesses from early‑stage concept through scalable expansion and operational maturity, demonstrating a consistent ability to transform ideas into high‑performing, sustainable organisations.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Outside of work, Gabriela is deeply family-oriented and a proud mother. She previously served as a foster care provider, which was a meaningful and formative experience for her. Supporting children and creating stability in their lives is something Gabriela carries with her even today.

Ms. Saavedra is also an active member of international gaming communities and has organised large-scale cross-border events bringing together participants from over 17 countries. Gabriela travels frequently and enjoys connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

At home, Gabriela is a cat lover, and she values maintaining a balance between ambition and entrepreneurship, family life, community engagement, and continuous personal growth.
