About
With a background rooted in a strong Greek heritage and competitive sport, I transitioned from an aspiring professional footballer into a career in finance. After completing a BCom (Honors) in Investment Management, I began my career in investments before moving into M&A at Benchmark. In my current role, I am responsible for new client acquisition and guiding clients through the early stages of the M&A journey, helping them navigate key strategic decisions with confidence.
Success
After working at Allan Gray, I decided to transition out of investments and into M&A. I was motivated by the opportunity to challenge myself further, work in a faster‑paced deal environment, and play a more hands‑on, client‑facing role.

Jamie began his career at Allan Gray, where he developed a strong foundation in investment analysis and financial markets. Since joining, Jamie has quickly adapted to the firm’s approach, leveraging his analytical background to engage with prospective clients and guide them through the early stages of the M&A process. He works closely with business owners, helping them understand the strategic, financial, and personal considerations involved in a transaction, while building trust and confidence from the outset.

His exposure to a wide range of industries and personalities continues to fuel his curiosity and drive to build meaningful relationships.
