As Head of the Middle Market Banking Team, Jordan represents clients with revenues ranging from $100 million to $500 million across the United States. He is a seasoned investment banking and capital raising professional with more than 15 years of experience originating and executing complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions for corporate and private equity clients.
His deep experience on both the buy and sell sides of M&A transactions gives his clients a unique advantage in understanding deal dynamics and achieving their objectives. By leading full-cycle processes from idea and thesis generation through valuation, diligence, and negotiation, he is intimately involved in accomplishing his clients’ objectives. Jordan prides himself on building deep client relationships while achieving desired outcomes for stakeholders.
On a personal note, when he is not working with clients, Jordan enjoys spending time with family, exercising, reading a good book, and serving his community and faith. He is regarded as “The Favorite Uncle” to his 14 nieces and nephews.

Experience
Jordan Houtz is a Managing Director and Head of Middle Market Banking at Benchmark International. He focuses on advising business owners on mergers and acquisitions, strategic growth initiatives, and exit planning. With a career grounded in finance, transaction execution, and operational strategy, Jordan brings disciplined analytical rigor to complex transactions while maintaining a client-centered focus throughout each process.
Before joining Benchmark International, Jordan held several senior roles across startups, family offices, private equity firms, and investment banks. Most notably, he worked at Point72 Private Investments (owned by billionaire Steve Cohen), where he raised $600 million for an AI/ML-focused buyout fund, authored two investment theses, and invested across multiple industries.
Prior to Point72, Jordan worked at other notable investment banks, advising middle-market clients on M&A, capital-raising, and other strategic alternatives across a range of diversified industrial, consumer, technology, healthcare, and business services industries.
Earlier in his career, Jordan worked closely with startups in the software and consumer industries, backing two that ultimately became unicorns: Domo and Pluralsight.
