Mr. Ritchie grew up in North London and spent most of his childhood there before moving to the North West to undertake a degree in Psychology. His first professional position was working within an M&A advisory firm in Manchester, which ultimately led him to Benchmark International. Lee’s role is to seek out the best opportunities available in the market, carefully selecting the right businesses for us to represent. Understanding the key value drivers and wider commercial benefits and challenges that each business can present is a critical part of his role in ensuring that we only represent the very best opportunities, at the right time, to guarantee the very best chance of a successful sale. He seeks out new companies for us to represent, understanding our client’s objectives and motivations, advising clients as to how we can aim to achieve these objectives, and guiding them through what is often a complicated and intricate process.

Lee has spent most of his career in M&A, having started work in the sector immediately after graduating from University. He has worked across every department in the M&A space and served clients from every industry, which puts him in a privileged position to best understand the unique offerings of a client's business and some of the challenges that will need to be addressed to ensure a successful outcome.
