Experience
Before joining Benchmark International, Leo served as an operating partner for a private equity–backed portfolio of industrial service companies. Over six years, the group completed more than 30 M&A transactions, aiming to build a high-performing network of businesses serving mission-critical industrial processes. Leo was deeply involved in sourcing, structuring, negotiating, integrating, and optimizing these deals, building value for clients and investors alike. Prior to private equity, Leo held several operational leadership positions with P&L responsibility in both private and public companies globally.
His military background as part of the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Power Program and engineering degree provide a foundation of operational discipline, precision, and accountability—qualities he brings to every initiative at Benchmark International. His career has consistently blended technical expertise with strategic leadership, and that unique combination continues to fuel success for the company and its clients.
Leo was drawn to Benchmark International by the exceptional caliber of its team, the company’s passion for M&A, and the opportunity to help entrepreneurs and business owners achieve the most important financial milestone of their lives.
