Benchmark International Has Successfully Facilitated the Transaction Between ABH Law Limited and Farleys Solicitors

Benchmark International is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Wigan-based ABH Law Limited by Manchester-headquartered Farleys Solicitors, part of the fast-growing legal services group, Lawfront.

ABH Law is a full-service legal practice offering a wide range of services across commercial litigation, corporate, commercial property, and private client matters including family law, residential conveyancing, personal injury, and wills and probate. Formed in 2014 from the merger of two longstanding Wigan law firms—Alker & Ball and Healds Solicitors—ABH has built a strong reputation for trusted, down-to-earth legal advice.

Farleys Solicitors is a respected full-service law firm with offices across the Northwest. Since joining Lawfront in 2022, the firm has continued its strategic expansion, focusing on broadening its regional footprint and enhancing its service offerings. This latest acquisition strengthens Farleys’ presence in Greater Manchester and brings together two firms with aligned values and a shared commitment to community-focused legal services.

The acquisition allows ABH to maintain its well-established name and team in Wigan, while gaining access to the wider resources, infrastructure, and brand strength of the Farleys and Lawfront network. Clients will benefit from continuity of service and an expanded legal offering, while the combined teams are well-positioned for long-term growth and recruitment in the region.

Benchmark International played an important role in originating and managing the transaction, completing the deal within a 7-month period. The buyer was identified early in the research phase and quickly progressed to exclusivity. Benchmark guided the sellers through every stage of the deal process, aligning expectations and supporting a smooth, successful outcome for both parties.
