Benchmark International Named Best Global Middle Market M&A Specialists 2022

Benchmark International has been named 2022’s Best Global Middle Market M&A Specialists by the Global 100. The Global 100 consists of only 100 of the world’s leading firms and individuals in more than 163 countries worldwide. The votes are received from the publication’s readers around the world. The purpose of the Global 100 is to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the firms that are true leaders within their chosen areas of specialization.

The Global 100 follows a very different and specific process from other publishers—one that is not commonly seen elsewhere in the industry. Voting follows a very strict format of self-submission and third-party nomination, and firms are then shortlisted and selected as winners in this elite group based on an assessment stage, followed by a judging stage. The assessment stage ranks winners based on their domestic and international work in each category to arrive at a shortlist based on comprehensive criteria. Once all votes are received, an independent panel of judges reviews the votes within each category based on: 

• The strategic nature of work conducted.
• The complexity of work conducted.
• The scale of work conducted.
• Whether the work was done in a speedy manner and within budget.
• Any groundbreaking or innovative processes used to complete the work.

It is required that winners receive no less than 21% of votes from the global readership, which currently exceeds 293,000 people. 

Essentially, the Global 100 provides “a benchmark of the very best industry leaders, most exemplary teams, and distinguished organizations.” It’s not ironic that benchmark is in our name. There is more than one reason why we are so frequently considered a benchmark in the global M&A community.
