The acquisition is in line with Beijer Alma’s model for value-adding acquisitions and Beijer Tech’s strategy of acquiring profitable companies in attractive niches with good growth potential and high value-add.

Through the transaction, Beijer Tech will acquire 100% of the shares in MGA Controls. The company will be part of Beijer Tech’s Fluid Technology business area. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Beijer Alma’s earnings per share.

The former owner and managing director of MGA Controls, David Wilson, commented on the transaction: “We are happy to join the Beijer Tech and Beijer Alma group. This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for MGA Controls and our team. With Beijer Tech’s resources and shared values, we are confident that we can continue to grow, innovate, and deliver outstanding service to our customers across the UK and beyond.”

Beijer Tech’s president, Staffan Johansson, commented on the transaction: “With the acquisition of MGA Controls, Beijer Tech is increasing its geographical footprint and making its first entry into the UK market. A market where our group already benefits from Beijer Components’ established presence. We are excited to welcome MGA Controls and its employees to Beijer Tech and Beijer Alma, and we look forward to working together going forward.”
