Benchmark International Successfully Facilitated the Transaction Between Tailored Image Ltd and Cooneen Group

Benchmark International is delighted to announce the acquisition of Tailored Image by Cooneen. The companies have agreed a share deal, establishing one of the largest corporate wear groupings in the UK.

Tailored Image designs, manufactures and supplies corporate clothing and staff uniforms for clients throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Established in 1966, Cooneen is one of the largest and most diversified garment manufacturers in Europe, operating in a range of clothing markets globally. Celebrating its 60^th year in 2026, Cooneen has sites across the UK, Europe and Asia in addition to its Fivemiletown headquarters.

The deal brings together two of the most successful companies in the corporate wear market, currently supplying customers such as easyJet, An Post, the NHS, Transport for London and Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

The combined operation will provide a strong platform for future growth across the UK, Ireland and throughout Europe.

Tailored Image will continue to operate as a business under its existing brand, ensuring continuity for its customers and partners while benefiting from the expanded resources and scale of Cooneen. Current management teams and staff will remain part of the new venture, emphasising the business-as-usual approach taken by both companies.

Managing Directors Eugene Greene (Cooneen) and Bernard Birt (Tailored Image) welcomed the deal, pointing out the inherent strengths of both businesses within the sector and the potential the deal brings for future growth within the combined group.
