BlueForge LLC acquired by ARGO Systems LLC

April 22, 2014

Acting on behalf of BlueForge LLC (“BlueForge”) and its shareholders of St Petersburg, Florida, USA, Benchmark International successfully facilitated the sale of BlueForge to ARGO Systems, LLC (“ARGO”).

BlueForge (www.blueforgellc.com), a $15M Revenue Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), specializing in healthcare construction management and design/build services, was acquired by Hanover, MD based ARGO Systems, LLC. (www.argo-sys.com), SDVOSB.

BlueForge’s has extensive healthcare construction experience in the Southeast and held continuous services contracts with the Department of Veteran Affairs in Florida and Georgia.  Their experience and contracts were attractive to the acquisition market and had multiple bidders interested in the company for this reason and many others.

ARGO saw the value in the success and reputation of BlueForge as a SDVOSB in the southeast.  The acquisition increases ARGO’s presence on the east coast and offerings in the Southeast.

Shareholder and Managing Partner, John Jackson, states, “The team at Benchmark International was committed to a successful outcome throughout the entire sales process.  I have already recommended Benchmark to other business owners and would trust them with the sale of my company in the future.”

Deal Lead, Travis Donaldson, states, “It was great to work with the shareholders of BlueForge to identify a buyer that understood the value of our client’s contracts.”  Benchmark International played a key role in the negotiations and sharing the strategic value in the acquisition.

The team at Benchmark International would like to thank both parties and wish them much success in their future endeavors.
