About
Florence is a Senior Analyst and Head of Deal Preparation in Benchmark International’s Amsterdam office. Naturally curious and entrepreneurial, she enjoys understanding how businesses grow, taking on new challenges and improving the way teams work.
She joined Benchmark 1.5 years ago as one of the first employees of the Amsterdam team, starting in a broad, all-round role across the M&A process. As the team grew, she took on responsibility for Deal Preparation and now leads the team of researchers, outreach analysts and Information Memorandum writers, overseeing the preparation and launch of sell-side mandates.
experience
Before joining Benchmark, Florence gained experience across strategy, finance, luxury and fashion. She worked as a Business Analyst within the CEO Office at La Prairie in Switzerland, in merchandise planning within fashion retail, and as Chief of Staff at a start-up.
She joined Benchmark to further develop her experience in M&A and was particularly drawn to the combination of financial analysis, entrepreneurship and working closely with business owners.

Florence has worked across a range of sell-side M&A mandates in sectors including technology, SaaS, healthcare and business services.
One of her key achievements at Benchmark has been taking on a leading role within the Deal Preparation team, helping to structure and improve the way transactions are prepared before going to market. She has also contributed to the development and training of junior analysts while managing the preparation of multiple transactions simultaneously.
