About

Ms. Newman grew up in Market Harborough, a picturesque town in the midlands and attended Robert Smyth Academy. From a young age she was focused on her studies and wanted to strive for success. As a Transaction Leader she ensures that her clients are properly advised and supported with the marketing of their business, overseeing meetings, conference calls, offers, and the legal process from lead to completion. Selling one’s business usually means selling one’s life’s work, and Kate safeguards clients’ interests through the entire process to the final sale of the business.

Experience

Before joining Benchmark International, Ms. Newman studied LLB Law and completed a postgraduate course in Legal Practice. She also worked around her studies for more than six years as a personal care assistant for a woman with cerebral palsy. She took on various roles including live-in care, personal assistance, childcare giving, tutoring and home school teaching. Working for her inspired Kate to share her level of resilience. Both her academic and work experience has strengthened her abilities to be meticulous, compassionate, strong-minded, articulate, and conscientious in her role today. She was drawn to Benchmark International because of the opportunity to be in a challenging role from the start with a clear progression path.
