Experience
With more than 15 years in the business, Mr. Manry brings significant experience in buy-side M&A advisory with private equity groups, strategic buyers, and individual buyers, as well as a notable history of advising clients on business valuation and financial matters. Prior to joining Benchmark International, Paul worked in deal advisory with KPMG and owned a business advisory practice focused on transactions, business valuation, and finance consulting. He was also part of Toptal’s network of M&A and financial consultants. He has nine years of experience in the Big Four consulting firms and three years experience in corporate finance with a large multi-billion-dollar health system, where he was involved in acquisitions. Paul was drawn to joining our team because of our incredible growth and ambition in the M&A market, which resonates with his goals and aspirations. The team-oriented culture is also a perfect fit for his work style.
Passion
Paul is passionate about exceeding client expectations and being an advocate for every client, always keeping an open line of communication. The transaction process can be complicated, challenging, and emotional for a seller, and he believes that being proactive in understanding his client’s point of view throughout the process is a key part to his approach.
He also has a passion for supporting children-oriented causes. He proudly became Treasurer of a 30+ year-old special needs school in Seattle with no net assets. Within three years, the school bought and renovated its first owned building and had net assets of over $1 million, serving more than 40 children with significant special needs. He was also on the board for the Seattle Children’s Museum, and was involved in the Nicholas Children’s Young Ambassadors that supports Nicholas Children’s Hospital.
