Mr. Karnofel assists entrepreneurs in understanding what opportunities exist in the market to develop an appropriate exit strategy from their business for themselves and their family. He has spent the last 20 years in various business models surrounding the small to middle-market mergers and acquisition industry. As he has witnessed both success and failure, he wanted to find a company that had “figured it out.” An associate introduced him to Benchmark International and he was instantly drawn to its ethos and the quality of the people.
Dave has a deep compassion for our customers and a commitment to do the right thing, every time. He also has a significant level of experience living in the shoes of our clients, having run several businesses of his own.
Over the years, Dave made the decision to focus on the small middle market versus the larger 'bulge bracket' market. The difference is that, when completing a transaction with a very large company, the owners and shareholders take their money and repeat the process. At Benchmark International, when we complete a transaction for an entrepreneur in the small to middle market, we change their lives forever. He thinks that is a pretty special feeling.
